I’ve designed and consulted on many projects in industries ranging from toys to luxury fragrance. My work has been for a variety of clients including Paramount, Dreamworks, Westfield, Mattel, OldNavy, Project Angel Food, Dayna Decker, Charlotte Moss, Michael S Smith, and Agraria San Francisco.
Prior executive positions at Mattel, Inc., included leading global brand identity development for Barbie, including product licensing, cosmetics, mainline dolls, customized and collector dolls. Other accomplishments at Mattel include invention, design, and leadership of development of Ello, Mattel’s only break-through construction toy created for girls.
Leadership roles for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Hanna-Barbera, included responsibility for brand identity development of Cartoon Network Hanna-Barbera Classic Characters, classic film properties including Wizard of Oz, as well as action properties such as Batman and Robin, and Superman. My years in NYC included partnership in design firm Manville, Bakacs, Santana developing product concepts and branding for Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Liz Claiborne, Macy’s and The Gap.
I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design as well as studies in industrial design at the Cooper Union.
Born and raised in Washington D.C., a museum rat and full-time student of all things creative… Painting instruction at Corcoran School of Art, print making at The National Portrait Gallery, sculpture, dance, music, and Shakespheare training at The National Cathedral. I left D.C. to attend Parsons School of Design in New York. Stayed in NYC for 13 years before moving to my current home base of Los Angeles.
